SEO & Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced SEO & Social Media Marketing Specialist to lead our organic and social growth initiatives for our e-commerce and marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SEO, including setting up and managing automated SEO systems, and will effectively manage our social media presence to drive traffic, brand awareness, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO:

• Develop and implement advanced on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies for e-commerce and marketplace websites.

• Set up and manage automated SEO systems and tools to streamline ongoing optimization.

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research for products, categories, blogs, and campaigns.

• Optimize product listings, categories, images, and structured data to maximize search visibility and CTR.

• Perform technical SEO audits, implement schema markup, improve crawlability, and ensure website speed optimization.

• Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies to build high-quality backlinks.

• Monitor algorithm updates and industry trends, updating strategies proactively.

• Analyze and report performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and other tools.

• Implement and optimize local SEO as needed.

Social Media Marketing:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow brand presence and engagement on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Create and manage content calendars, posting schedules, and platform-specific content.

• Plan and run paid advertising campaigns on social platforms to drive traffic and conversions.

• Engage with followers, manage comments and messages, and build an active community.

• Analyze social media insights, generate performance reports, and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.

• Stay up to date with algorithm changes, platform updates, and best practices.

General Digital Marketing:

• Collaborate with design, product, and content teams to align campaigns with business goals.

• Monitor competitors and market trends to propose actionable insights.

• Implement A/B testing strategies for ads and SEO changes.

• Contribute to email marketing campaigns and influencer collaborations if required.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in SEO and social media marketing for e-commerce or marketplace platforms.

• Strong knowledge of automated SEO tools and workflows, including schema automation and bulk optimization techniques.

• Expertise in technical SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and backlink building.

• Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).

• Deep understanding of Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Ads, YouTube Studio, Twitter Ads, and platform algorithms.

• Strong copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills for social media.

• Ability to analyze data and present clear, actionable insights.

• Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom marketplace platforms.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
