Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Experience

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic, Steel
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

Progressive experience in tax compliance, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of VAT, sales tax, and other relevant tax laws and regulations.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities & Context

This role involves meticulous record-keeping, assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns, and ensuring the company's activities align with current tax laws. The job role supports the organization's commitment to legal and ethical practices by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of VAT regulations and collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Jobs Responsibilities:

Implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring full compliance with local, national, and international tax laws and regulations.
Prepare, and submit accurate and timely VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Handle all correspondence, audits, and inquiries related to VAT and other taxes.
Identify potential tax risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure all transactions are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all tax-related transactions, filings, and correspondence for audit purposes.
Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to provide guidance on tax implications related to business decisions, contracts, and transactions.
